U.S. House

Georgia 7th Congressional District — 2026

Georgia’s 7th District elects a U.S. representative on November 3, 2026. Republican incumbent Rich McCormick faces Democrat Tony Kozycki, according to Decision Desk HQ’s public race page.

What this office is

Each U.S. House district elects one representative for a two-year term. Your district is assigned by official maps and your registered address — not by opening a page on this site. The House originates revenue bills, shares lawmaking with the Senate, and can impeach federal officers. All 435 voting seats are on the ballot in 2026.

Why it matters in 2026

Decision Desk HQ’s September 16, 2026 forecast treated the district as Safe Republican. That is a named-outlet forecast, not a Map the Midterms rating. Confirm your district on the official Georgia lookup tools.
