What is on the Utah ballot in the 2026 midterms?
The Utah Lieutenant Governor’s amended 2026 general-election certification, signed September 21, 2026, lists U.S. House of Representatives Districts 1, 2, 3, and 4 and does not list a U.S. Senate contest or a governor contest. It says no statewide ballot propositions have qualified, and it places Constitutional Amendment A and Constitutional Amendment B on the ballot. Under nonpartisan judicial retention elections, it says the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals serve all counties. The certificate says no statewide ballot propositions have qualified for the 2026 general-election ballot and then prints the two amendments. Amendment A’s question asks whether the Utah Constitution shall be amended to change publication of proposed amendments from newspapers to a manner established by state law for 60 days immediately before the general election. Amendment B’s question asks whether citizen-proposed laws that increase taxes compared with existing law shall require at least 60 percent of voters instead of a simple majority.
