- What is on the Virginia ballot in the 2026 midterms?
- The Virginia Department of Elections candidate list for the November 3, 2026 general election, all offices, uses the office label “Member, United States Senate” with jurisdiction “Statewide.” “Member, House of Representatives” is the other federal office label on that list. The upcoming-elections page for November 3, 2026 also names a Virginia House of Delegates, District 20 special election, local offices, proposed constitutional amendments, and local referendums. That page does not name a governor contest. The U.S. Senate Class II page, read October 18, 2026, includes Virginia among seats whose terms expire in 2027. The upcoming-elections page says proposed constitutional amendments are on the November 3, 2026 ballot and points to a separate amendments file. That page’s text does not print the amendment titles. A Department of Elections news release dated September 11, 2026 says three proposed amendments to the Constitution of Virginia are on the ballot and does not print their titles.
